I made an appointment with them and they were able to come within the week. I thought my fireplace was gas but they let me know it was electric and advised me to what I needed in order to get the fireplace to work. Needed a new remote and battery. Later we were able to discover that the fireplace could be turned on without a new battery or remote directly from the fireplace which we were not told. Sweep your Chimney did repair and restoration of 3 chimneys, installed a stainless-steel liner, and performed parging of smoke chambers for 4 fireplaces. Great experience! The technicians let me know when they were on their way and the communications throughout were excellent. After the inspection, they were able to do the repairs the same day which was a pleasant surprise (I figured I would need to schedule a follow-up for that). We moved into our house last year and our 2 gas fireplaces didn't work. We ended up replacing them both because the cost and warranty made that the better value rather than fixing the old units. Unfortunately, we didn't use them too much this year because it wasn't that cold, but they worked great when we did.This year, daniel came over to do the annual inspection and did a great job explaining everything to me and checking everything. I thought I might have a gas leak in one because I had one last year in the old gas valve of the other.He assured me that it was just the smell of the new fireplace since we still hadn't used it much.Overall, I am very pleased and like all the businesses I keep going back to, they have friendly, professional staff and give you the total cost up front (obviously, if there's additional issues, that can change), so you're not left with hidden or mysterious charges. I did not use the service.  I called and was redirected to ‘my steam green’ which is a carpet cleaning service chain that has entities throughout california and also does chimney cleaning - I could not determine the corporate ownership. - that is all fine and I might be ok with that, except for the appearance of a locally owned and operated business - and filled with what appears to be false testimonials and reviews. I highly recommend these guys. Did an excellent job, very professional and clean. They were in and out in 15 minutes even did a quick cosmetic fix on a crack. Even went so far as nailing down a loose gutter while checking the top of the chimney.

I contacted the Chimney Care service for help with a leak coming through my chimney. They responded and found my chimney caps were in need of replacement. They replaced them, but leaking continued. I called them back a second time and they responded promptly without question. They inspected the caps and double caulked them. However leaking continued. This is more than a year later. I recalled them a third time and, again, they responded without question. They reinspected the caps and assured me they were fine. They went a step further and found the problem, which was the siding and trim on my chimney stack.

Fall and Winter are the busy months for chimney cleaners so I had to book my appointment a couple of months in advance. Daniel came out and completed a quick and thorough cleaning and inspection on my two chimneys.
He took the time to give me some relevant pointers about my using my wood stove. I learned some good tips on how to get the most out of my chimneys and reduce soot.
